Judy Allen Hansford, 66, of Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Martha Brummitt Allen.
Judy was a graduate of Happy Valley High School. She was a retired employee of Tennessee Eastman and a member of Friendship Free Will Baptist Church, Hampton. Judy loved to shop and travel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hansford.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Ellie Hansford, Elizabethton; five grandchildren, Eric Hansford Jr. and friend Daniell, Johnson City, Daniel Hansford and wife Brittney, Kingsport, Casey Hansford, Johnson City, and Kirk Hansford, Elizabethton; a great-grandson, Zachary Hansford; a step-granddaughter, Megan McMahan; three sisters; one brother; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her sister-in-law, Elinore.
Funeral services for Judy Allen Hansford will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 2, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Danny Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Eric Hansford, Eric Hansford Jr., Daniel Hansford, Casey Hansford, Kirk Hansford and Frank Collazo. Honorary pallbearers will be her little great-grandson, Zachary. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
