Anthony Gene “Tony” Nunley, 57, of Hampton, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016, at his residence. He was born August 7, 1958 in Elizabethton, Tenn.
Tony was a graduate of Elizabethton High School and completed an associate degree at University of South Carolina. He worked in Sales with Nunley’s Furniture. He enjoyed his work and loved to travel.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Raff Nunley.
Survivors include his wife, Tin Potter Nunley; his mother, Jewel Trivett Nunley, Elizabethton; his sisters, Diana Nunley-Gorman and her husband Ed, Kingsport, Delilah Nunley, Elizabethton, and Deborah Bartley, Piney Flats; three nephews and one niece.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Mike Hill officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his wife.
