Cathy Lynn Campbell-Stines, 52, of North Carolina, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital in Elizabethton, Tenn.
Cathy was born on January 15, 1964 in Johnson City, Tenn. She graduated from Science Hill and proceeded to nursing school where she became an LPN. Cathy loved to spend time with her family, especially her nephew, Hunter Rasnick, and great-niece, Alexis Parlier.
She enjoyed cooking, reading and walks with her husband, Rob. Cathy will always be remembered for her big heart, giving spirit and her will to help others.
Cathy was the daughter of Jerry Freeman and the late Sandie Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Charles Leonard Presnell Jr., Temperance and Orville Markland, May and Howard Freeman, Hallie and Earnest Campbell, several aunts and uncles, father-in-law, Rocky Stines, sister-in-law, Crystal Stines, and a nephew, Zackary Campbell.
Cathy is survived by her husband of seven years, Robert Stines; her son, Joshua Brent Presnell; grandson, Ethan Scott Polland; brother, Terry Freeman and wife Debbie; sister, Teresa Parlier and husband Mitch; sister, Kim Campbell; sister, Sherri Webster and husband Danny; step-mother, Kay Freeman; step-father, CJ Campbell; mother-in-law, Annie Stines; sister-in-law, Tammy Amburgey; brother-in-law, Glen Stines; brother-in-law, Paul Stines; and several cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Greg Wagner officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, at Washington County Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, will be Chris Russell, Robert Britt, Clarence Frye, Clarence Frye Jr., Danny Webster and Paul Stines. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at the residence of a sister, Teresa Parlier. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday to go to the cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website at www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
