John Orson Ruehl

John Orson Ruehl, 56, of Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016, at his residence.
A native of Lake County, Ind., he was a son of the late William Arnold Ruehl Sr. and Ellen Olivia Estrada Ruehl. He had lived in Elizabethton since 2001.
Mr. Ruehl was a dock worker security guard. He was a member of Hampton Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Ruehl Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Tammy Laws Ruehl; his children, Angie Jaramillo and Mark Jaramillo, both of Indiana, Cynthia Kulinski, Elizavette Luna and Crystle Gilbert, all of Elizabethton; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; three sisters, Marcella Ruehl and Norma Ruehl, both of Indiana, and Dorothy Ruehl, Elizabethton; a brother from another mother, Leroy Ellis; and two foster brothers, Bob and Marvin Vanderwater.
A Celebration of Life Service for John Orson Ruehl will be conducted at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at Hampton Christian Church with Mr. Dwayne Calhoun, minister, officiating.
