Reynolds Jerry Harrison, 91, Elizabethton went home to be with his Lord on August 12, 2016 at the Pine Ridge Care Center. A native of Watauga County, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Spencer and Alice Harvey Harrison. He had lived in Elizabethton for several years. He worked at Harold McCormick School in Elizabethton for many years until his retirement. He attended Pleasant Beach Baptist Church. He loved to work in his garden and loved to fish.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years: Virginia Bell Canter Harrison. Three Sons and Daughters-in-law: Jerry & Margaret, Harrison, Tim & Reta Harrison and David & Denna Harrison. Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. His Brothers: Jim, Eugene, Bill and Wade Harrison. His Sisters: Ann, Pauline and Sherry.
The family would like to thank the staff of Pine Ridge Care Center for their kindness to Reyn during his illness. A private service will be held by the family.
