OmniSource in Elizabethton, Kingsport discontinue operations

The North Lynn Avenue location for OmniSource in Elizabethton is now closed for business. The company’s Kingsport location was also closed down, according to business.
One recycling facility will no longer offer availability in Elizabethton.
OmniSource, a recycling facility that services Northeast Tennessee, closed their facility, which was located on North Lynn Avenue, according to OmniSource’s Johnson City location.
The Elizabethton Star was able to get in contact with the Washington County facility, which stated that both their Kingsport and Elizabethton locations were closed down on Friday, Aug. 12.
A sign placed on the front of the Elizabethton location tells citizens to visit the Johnson City facility. The Johnson City office is located on 110 Perma R Road. The phone number is 423-928-1609.
