NORTH MYRTLE BEACH — Leslie Wade Fondren, 63, passed away August 20, 2016, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Fondren was born February 4, 1953 in Elizabethton, Tenn., to the late Harry and Edith Earhart Fondren.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a retired Fire Marshal with the city of North Myrtle Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce “Cookie” Bogle, of 44 years; two daughters, Shawn Speedling (Tony) and Hope Fondren-Restauro (Amanda); a son, Chuck Dalton; a brother, Jerry Fondren; and three grandchildren, Caitlin, Anthony and Hannah.
Other than his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Roger Neal Fondren.
