Gloria J. (Jeanie) Shell, 60, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Jeanie is the daughter of Nellie Markland and the late Frank Markland of Roan Mountain, Tenn.
She leaves behind a daughter, April Blackburn, two granddaughters, Kaylin Dial and Gracie Blackburn of Elizabethton; brothers, Stewart Markland and Warren Markland of Roan Mountain; and sisters, Kathy MacRae, Sheila Markland and Carol Johnson of Elizabethton, Betty Taylor of Roan Mountain and Sherry Buchanan of Spruce Pine, N.C.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the home of her mother, Nellie, 106 Orr Street, Roan Mountain, on Saturday, August 27, at 5 p.m. Those who wish to send condolences and flowers may send them to 106 Orr Street, Roan Mountain, TN 37687.
