Kenneth Lee Blevins, 75, of Roan Mountain, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016, at Roan Highlands Nursing Center.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Frank and Pearl Byrd Blevins.
Mr. Blevins worked in shrubbery and trees.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Blevins, August 12, 2016, and two brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Cable and Jerry Estep, Hampton, and Melissa Garland, Elizabethton; a son, Kenneth Wayne Blevins and Samantha Arnett, Roan Mountain; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services for Kenneth Lee Blevins will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday, August 25, in the Blevins Cemetery, Tiger Creek, Roan Mountain, with the Rev. Randy English and the Rev. Terry Richardson officiating. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 3:50 p.m. Thursday, will be Anthony Cable, Jerry Estep, Kenny Blevins, Jonah Horney, Jacob Horney and Kris Roark. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 3:50 p.m. Thursday. The family will visit with friends following the graveside service.
