John George Schwind III, 58, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away Friday, October 7, 2016, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Schwind was a U.S. Marine veteran of 18 years, having served in Beirut and Central America.
A graveside service to honor his life will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, in the Mountain Home National Cemetery with Rev. Doug Hinshaw officiating. Military Honors will be accorded by the Carter County Honor Guard. Online condolences may be sent to www.hathawaypercy.com.
