Joyce Ann Lyons Combs, 59, of Bluff City, Tenn., passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born August 27, 1957 in Carter County, Tenn., a daughter of the late John Dennis and Bessie Sigmond Lyons.
Joyce worked as a caregiver and volunteered as a hospice worker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Combs.
She is survived by her fiancé, Anthony Comer; children, Jessica Harris Holsclaw and Michael Wigand and wife Julie; granddaughter, Jayla Nichole Holsclaw; and aunts and cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, October 29, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Booker officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., prior to the service. The interment will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Morrell Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb Ray, Bo Moore, Larry Feathers Jr., Michael Wigand, Johnny Banks Jr. and Mike Farmer.
