Dina Jean Winters

Dina Jean Winters, 47, of Elizabethton, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016, at her residence after a brief illness.
Dina was a native of Carter County. She was a 1987 graduate of Hampton High School and was a homemaker. Dina attended Hampton Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Gladys Hall Winters.
Survivors include her children, Paige Blevins, Elizabethton, and Corbin Blevins, Orlando, Fla.; her father, Jack Whitehead, Elizabethton; her mother, Sally Jo Whitehead, Elizabethton; a sister, Mikki Fletcher, Elizabethton; a brother, Jackie (Michelle) Whitehead, Elizabethton; three nephews, Jake Fletcher, Jessie Whitehead and Justin Whitehead; her special friend and caregiver, Kim Watts; her godson, Jonathan Watts, and goddaughter, Ashley Watts, both of Bristol, Tenn.; her aunt, Jean Gobble, Hampton; and several cousins, friends and neighbors.
Funeral services for Dina Jean Winters will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Dwayne Calhoun, minister, officiating. Music will be provided by the Carr Family. The graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 22, in the Hall Cemetery, Hampton. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, will be Chris Deloach, Nick Deloach, David Gobble, Jeff Gobble, Jonathan Watts and Jake Fletcher. Honorary pallbearers will be her friends and neighbors. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Mountain States Hospice for the excellent care Dina received. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Friends may visit with the family other times at the residence of her mother, Sally Whitehead.
