Carmaleta Hoss, 96, of Kingsport, went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 23, 2016. Carmaleta joins her husband, Carl Hoss, daughter Kathy Hoss Sams, and son B.C. Hoss. Carmaleta was born in Johnson City, Tenn., to the late Bill and Eva Breeden.
Carmaleta was a retired teacher’s aide and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Porter, of Dade City, Fla., and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be conducted at a later date.
