MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. — Jerry Carroll Jones, 76, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017.
He was born in Portsmouth, Va., son of the late Raymond and Virginia Jones. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Ray Jones.
Mr. Jones was a member of Rittertown Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children, Jerry Reid Jones and wife Patricia Downs of Charlotte and Carol Lynn Jones of Florida; one brother, Jack Lee Jones of Mexico; five grandchildren, Erin Stanley, Katie, Kayla and Kelsey Jones and Paxton Smith; and three great-grandchildren.
