Dennis Ray Rasnick

Dennis Ray Rasnick, 70, of Bluff City, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at the James H. Quillen V.A. Medical Center. A native of Carter County, Tenn., he was the son of the late James Arthur and Ethel Spears Rasnick.
Mr. Rasnick had worked in the Spinning Room at Beaunit Fibers. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Phelp Rasnick, and two brothers, Howell Rasnick and Coeburn Rasnick.
Those left to cherish his memory include four brothers, Tony Rasnick, Watauga, Tenn., Dallas Rasnick, Bluff City, Tenn., Randall Keith Rasnick, Elizabethton, Tenn., and Harold Rasnick, Bluff City, Tenn., and two sisters, Daisy Ornduff, Elizabethton, Tenn., and Zella Phillips, Bluff City, Tenn. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will hold a graveside service for Dennis Ray Rasnick at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 2, at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 9:50 a.m. for the graveside service. Military Honors will be accorded by the Carter County Honor Guard.
