George Ann Miller Holly, 90, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017.
Born in Erwin, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late George W. and Myrtle P. Miller.
Mrs. Holly retired from Bankers Trust with 20 years of service. She was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church. She was a former resident of Elizabethton, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Billy Thad Holly.
Survivors include two daughters, Becky Williams (Bob), and Bunny Shore and husband, Greg; four grandchildren, Ashley Williams (Jeff), Joshua Gregory Shore and wife, Christin, Justin Thad Shore, and Christopher Lee Shore and wife, Kim; and four great-grandchildren, Bradleigh Robinson, Keifer, Carley and Katey Shore.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 20, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Herb Franklin. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. Family members are at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 or St. John’s United Methodist Church, 515 South McDuffie Street, Anderson, SC 29624.
