“I have fought a good fight.” 2 Timothy 4:7
Patsy Freeman, 66, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 22, 2017.
She was born February 5, 1950, to the late William Albert and Hazel Greenwell of Elizabethton, Tenn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Bill, Millard and Jackie Greenwell, and a sister, Mary Greenwell.
Surviving, to cherish her memory, are her sisters, Betty Markland, Susan Dougherty, and Ruby Louise Ray and husband Jerry, all of Elizabethton; her brothers, Doran Greenwell of Elizabethton and Tom Greenwell of Delaware; and a very special friend, whom she loved as a sister, Annie Parlier. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A private service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to all the nurses, staff and caregivers at Life Care Center of Elizabethton for all the kindness they gave her.
Thank you to all her many friends she made there, Joyce, Ethel “George” and all the others, and her special friends, Charles Dugger and Phillip Greene.
A very special thank you to Willie Campbell, who took the time to tell her about the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
