Connie June Tipton went to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 9, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Calvin and Mary Ruth Tipton.
Connie was a member of Green Pine Baptist Church.
Connie’s survivors include her children, Christy Dawn Stout, of the home, Alana Beth Stout of Jonesborough, and Bradley Harold Stout, of the home; her grandchildren, Christopher A. Duncan, Bailey M. Foltz, Jaxson C. Stout, Nicholas B. Stout, Natalie M. Stout and Bently G. Stout; siblings, Sandra Tipton McKinney (Johnny), Eddie Tipton (Mary), Cathy Tipton Stanton (Sam), Debbie Tipton Rodefer (Joe) and Donna Tipton Walsh. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service for Connie will be conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 11, at Fairview Baptist Church, 585 Watauga Road, Watauga, Tenn. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6 to 8 p.m. A special thanks to her Kennametal family, Amedisys Hospice and special friends, Linda and Holly. In lieu of flowers, Connie requests donations to Restore Life USA and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Connie was known in life for her kind heart and generosity. Even in death her generosity lives on through her donation to medical science.
