C. Lee “Chug” Ensor

C. Lee “Chug” Ensor, 76, of Clarksville, Tenn., passed into Heaven on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at his home. He was born on March 28, 1940, to Cecil and Cora Ellen Ensor.
Mr. Ensor graduated from Unaka High School in 1958. He joined the Army and retired many years later.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Stanley, Raymond and Robert “Bug” Ensor; and two nephews, Randy and Ricky Ensor.
Survivors include his loving wife of almost 36 years, Laura Schlosser Ensor; three sons, Chad and Gregory, of the home, and Michael Ensor, daughter-in-law, Kim Ensor, granddaughter, Danielle Ensor, all of Elizabethton; two brothers, Howard (Jewel) Ensor and Ernest “Pete” (Kathy) Ensor; three sisters, Marie (Tom) Oxendine, Ruby Corder and Lynda (Tom) Vaughn; and three sisters-in-law, Phyllis, Nyoka and Joyce Ensor; one uncle, Frank (Evelyn) Gentry. He is also survived by his in-laws, Bryan (Diana) Schlosser, Deborah (Chuck) Tesnow, Gary (Janet) Schlosser, John (Joan) Schlosser and Kevin Schlosser. Many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces also survive.
A memorial service for “Chug” will be held at Dungan Chapel Baptist Church, Elizabethton, Tenn., on Sunday, March 19, at 2 p.m. with Military Honors.
