Toni L. Carrico, 73, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 17, 2017, at Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Florence Guess Bradshaw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Carrico; a brother, R.C. Bradshaw; and a sister, Henrietta Campbell.
Toni was a homemaker and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church. She loved to listen to bluegrass music and enjoyed the holidays and shopping.
Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Kimberly Carrico Rollins and husband Keith of Johnson City, and Michelle Boyd and husband Anthony of Bristol, Va.; two grandchildren, Amber Rollins and Isaiah Rollins, both of Johnson City; one sister, Alice Nave and husband Floyd of Elizabethton; one brother, Steve Bradshaw and wife Regina of Elizabethton; a special friend, Gaylord Smith of Johnson City; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service to honor Toni’s life will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Nathan Jennings officiating. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Everyone will meet at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, at 1 p.m. Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the 5500 floor at Johnson City Medical Center for the love and care given to Toni during her illness.
