Houston Barry Trivett

Houston Barry Trivett was born on March 3, 1943, the son of the late Willie Willard and Effie Mae Black-Trivett. On March 27, 1965, he married Ruth Elaine Barrier, who survives. Houston departed this life on March 30, 2017, at the age of 74 years and 27 days.
Houston worked in production for A.M. General in Mishawaka, Ind., before retiring after 30 years. He was a very hard worker who loved his family very much. Houston loved to play the guitar and sing.
In addition to his wife, Houston is survived by his son, Gregory Young and wife Becky of Osceola, Ind.; daughters, Michelle Wagner and husband Mark of Mishawaka, Ind., Deanna Trivett and husband Devon Flosenzier of Plymouth, Ind., Bridgette Jackson and husband Mark of Savannah, Tenn., and Kerstie Moore and husband Jesse of Savannah, Tenn.; sisters, Irene Anderson of Westchester, Pa., Darlene Barlow of Elizabethton, Tenn., Joyce Mandler of Joppa, Ala., Mildred Sobotka of Kingsport, Tenn., Mary Sizemore of Appalachia, Va., and Robin Roberts of Mountain City, Tenn.; a brother, Allen Trivett of Elizabethton, Tenn.; grandchildren, Autumn Stribling, Erica Davis, Elise Szalay, Patrick Wagner, Houston Jackson, Alexis Jackson and Nicole Sante; and great-grandchildren, Gracie Szalay, Ashton Davis and Brandon and Emma Sante.
Along with his parents, Houston was preceded in death by his daughter, Jeannie Trivett; brothers, Mirl, Richard and Clyde Trivett; and grandchildren, Adam and Andrew Vickery.
