Hunter Cruz Davis

Hunter Cruz Davis, 11, of Elizabethton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 31, 2017. A native of Elizabethton, he is the son of Natalie and Michael Permenter. Hunter was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Brandy Davis.
Hunter was a student at Hampton Elementary and attended Heartland Fellowship Church. He was a very loving and happy little boy that had the faith in God that surpassed the faith of 1000 righteous men, the heart of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-father of eight years, Stacy Clawson of Butler; biological father, William Blair of Johnson City; siblings, Christopher Payne of Johnson City, Cherokee Miller and fiancé Jamie Reece of Elizabethton, Marilyn Permenter and fiancé Travis Kammeyer of Johnson City, Macklyn Permenter of Johnson City, Mitchell and Skylar Permenter of Johnson City, Monica Permenter of Bristol, Lexi Blair of Jonesborough, and Bentley Blair of Johnson City; paternal grandparents, Rick and Ali Davis of Chattanooga/Scotland; maternal grandparents, Danny and Ellen Ferrell of Florida; Grandma Eve and Papaw B.J. of North Carolina; aunts and uncles, Lis and Zach Rayner of California, John and Mahira Davis of New York, and Charis Davis of North Carolina; and many other special loved ones.
The family would like to extend a thank you for all the support and love from everyone.
The family will gather to receive friends starting at 1 p.m. until a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church, 1503 Riverview Drive, Elizabethton, TN 37643. The family requests that, in honor of Hunter and what he loved in life, wear your favorite super hero attire. Rest in peace Hunter; you will be missed.
