Romans 8:38-39 (NIV) “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Pauline Ramsey, 82, 25 Mulberry Lane, Chapel Hill, N.C. (former resident of Elizabethton, Tenn.) went home on Saturday afternoon, May 20, 2017, to be with her Lord. She was born in Rowan County, Ky., to Arthur and Isa Riddle, but lived the majority of her life in Ohio, Tennessee and North Carolina. Pauline was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She loved to help brighten others’ days. She was a homemaker and current member of Advent Lutheran Church and a previous member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Elizabethton, Tenn. She always saw the best in people and was very patient and kind. Her smile and helping hands will be remembered by many friends and family members.
Family members who will cherish her memory include her husband of 54 years, Ron Ramsey; daughters, Tereasa Gifford and Laura Walker; one son-in-law, Robert Walker; grandchildren, John Gifford (Jen), Joe Gifford (Randi), James Gifford (Kate), Peyton Walker, Megan Walker and Katelyn Walker; great-grandchildren, Jacob Gifford, Leah Gifford, Jack Gifford and Baylee Gifford; two sisters, Loretta Hockensmith and Glenna Sesco; family members, Barbara and Ron Graham, Richard and Pat Ramsey and Debbie and Larry Strack; several nieces and nephews; and her church family at Advent Lutheran Church.
A memorial service will be held at Advent Lutheran Church, Chapel Hill, N.C., on Sunday, June 4, at 4 p.m. with Pastor Larry Lineberger officiating.
