Donna L. Hendrickx, 66, a dynamic loving wife, mother and friend, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 17, 2017. She was preceded in death by her mother, June Rapier; her brother, James D. Nelson; and her sister, Sandy Nelson.
Donna had been a resident of Elizabethton for the past 10 years, and this is where she called home. She attended Oak Grove Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Donald G. Hendrickx; her father, James Nelson; her brother, Scott Nelson and wife Jeanie; her children, Russ Miner and wife Jennifer, Schawna Miner, Danielle Henrickx and Aaron Hendrickx and wife Jacqueline; nine grandchildren; her extended family; and very special friends.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, at Oak Grove Christian Church, 436 Jim Elliott Road, Elizabethton. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the American Cancer Society or Mountain States Hospice. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the internal medical doctors and nurses at Johnson City Medical Center, especially Dr. Hoover, Hanna (CNA) and Pamela with Mountain States Hospice Care.
She was a beautiful soul!
