Ruth Anne Adams Milton, of Elizabethton, was born December 15, 1960 at her home in Marseilles, Ill. On June 29, 2017, Ruth unexpectedly went on to be with The Lord Jesus Christ, her parents, Warren Carney Adams and Wilma Ardell Rivers Adams, and her husband, David Allen Milton.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Carrie and Greg Nance, Elizabethton, James and Holly Milton, of Illinois, Garry and Crystal Milton, Elizabethton, and Naomi and Chris Flannery, Elizabethton; and two special nephews, Matthew Adams and his family and Cody Brown and his family. She also leaves a brother, Warren and his wife Karren Adams, and three sisters, Sandy and her husband Harlan “Shorty” Niemann, Dixie, and Betty Jo and her husband Charles Bruner Jr. Ruth leaves behind eight grandchildren that she loved dearly, James, Gregory, Michael “Bo,” Christina, Bambi, Troy, Charlie and Dylan.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the service to follow, with Brother Pat Barr officiating.
