Arminda Potter McMahan

Arminda Potter McMahan, of Hampton, daughter of the late Calvin and Hattie Holcomb Potter, died on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton after an extended illness.
Mrs. McMahan was born on August 28, 1927 in Neon, Ky., and moved to Roan Mountain at an early age.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lee McMahan, the father of her children, four brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her children, Jimmie Lee McMahan and wife Anita, Jackie McMahan and wife Yvonne, Jessie McMahan, Jerry McMahan and wife Gwen and Patricia McMahan Davis and husband Ronnie; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Morell Hall and Sue Hurst (Harry).
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website at www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
