Claude Trivette

Claude Trivette, 70, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away Monday, July 10, 2017, at Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Carter County, he was the son of the late James Edward and Norma Simerly Trivette
Mr. Trivette was a 1965 graduate of Elizabethton High School and attended East Tennessee State University. He worked in the Twisting Department of North American Rayon Corporation. He was a member of Valley Forge Christian Church and was an avid reader.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Clark.
Those left to cherish his memory include a son, Louis Trivette, Kingsport, Tenn., and first cousins, Pansy Harrison, Elizabethton, Ronnie Trivett and wife Patsy, Elizabethton, Kathy Oliver and husband Butch, Elizabethton, Brenda Hunter, Denver, N.C., Barbara Windfelder, Greensboro, N.C., Eddie Simerly, Greensboro, N.C., Dennis Simerly, Greensboro, N.C., Linda Lewis and husband Pat, Elizabethton, Ricky Trivett, Elizabethton, and Wanda McKinney of Michigan.
A memorial service to honor the life of Claude Trivette will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 30, in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Charlie Trivette officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 2 p.m. Sunday, prior to the memorial service.
