Laurel Fork Ministry
The Laurel Fork Ministry will have back-to-school clothing boxes Friday and Saturday, August 18 and 19, beside the Hampton Post Office from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Boxes of clothing will be sorted by size and for either a boy or girl.

Riverside Community
Riverside Community Church of Jesus, 121 Pleasant Beach Road, will have revival August 27-29 with Pastor Henry Byanukama and his wife, Lillian. The services begin at 6 p.m.

First Christian
Minister Michael Klaus will continue his sermon series “The Parables of Jesus” at Sunday morning worship Aug. 20 at First Christian Church of Elizabethton. The service will begin at 9:45 a.m. Scripture reading will be by Leslie Brockley and the communion meditation will be given by Jonathan Baker. Dr. David Mills and Shirley Curde will present special music.
Bible school classes will begin at 11 a.m.
The Sunday evening service will begin at 6 p.m.
The Tuesday morning prayer service led by John Smith will be at 10 a.m.
The Wednesday evening Bible study and prayer service will be at 6 p.m. The Bible study will be on the book of Colossians. The Visitation Team will also go out at 6 p.m.
The choir will resume practice in the sanctuary at 7 p.m.

Little Mountain
Homecoming will be held Sunday at Little Mountain Baptist Church, Roan Mountain.
The morning worship service at 11 a.m. will feature special singing along with the church choir. The pastor, the Rev. Derrick Hughes, will preach the homecoming message.
Everyone is invited to attend this special service by the pastor and congregation.

Bethlehem Lutheran
“Content With Crumbs’ is the sermon topic for morning worship Sunday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Johnson City. The scripture text is Matt. 15: 21-28.
Morning worship is at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Communion will be served at both services.
Interpreted services for the deaf are available the second and fourth Sundays at the 10:45 a.m. service.

“Surprised By Faith” is the topic of the Rev. Raymond Amos’ message Sunday at morning worship at First United Methodist Church. The service will begin at 9:55 a.m.
Sunday School follows at 11:20 a.m.
The Sunday evening Bible study will be at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall as will the Wednesday evening Life Lesson series.
The 4:12 Student Ministries for Junior and Senior High students will meet Sunday from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. in the 4:12 Ministries House. The Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m.
