Lighthouse Bible Church
Revival will be held Sept. 4-8 at Lighthouse Bible Church, 371 Pleasant Hill Road, Blountville.
Evangelists are Bob McCurry, who will preach Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; and Pat Hammons, who will preach Friday.
Special singing will be featured each service. Featured groups will include Danny Moneyhunn, Monday; Igeary Pearcy and Sons, Tuesday; Pilgrim Choir, Wednesday; True Faith Quartet, Thursday; and Hunter Patterson, Friday.

East Side Free Will
A fall craft bazaar, breakfast and bake sale will be held Saturday, Oct. 7, at East Side Free Will Baptist Church, 704 Siam Road.
Vendors may rent a table for $20 or two tables for $30. Tables must be reserved by Sept. 15. To reserve a table, call Sunday at 543-3454 or Felicia at 342-1789.
The Ladies Auxiliary will sell home baked items and breakfast. Crafts must be home made.

Trinity Baptist
Revival will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 458 Doe Ave., September 3-6.
The evangelist will be Dr. Ben Carper.
Services Sunday will be at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and Monday through Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Special singing will be featured at each service.
Dr. James Richardson, pastor, invites the public to attend.

First United Methodist
“We Labor By Faith And Eat By Grace” is the theme for Sunday morning’s sermon at First United Methodist Church of Elizabethton. The sermon text is Luke 17: 5-10.
Morning worship is at 9:55 a.m. followed by Sunday School at 11:20 a.m.
Sunday evening Bible Study is at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall as is the Wednesday evening Life Lessons.
The 4:12 Student Ministries for Junior and Senior High students will meet Sunday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and the Coolagers (grades K-5) will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Coolager Hut.
The Rev. Raymond Amos is pastor.

First Christian
Minister Michael Klaus will continue his sermon series on the Parables of Jesus at the Sunday morning worship service Sept. 3 at First Christian Church of Elizabethton. The service begins at 9:45 a.m.
Scripture reading will be by Randy Brockley and the communion meditation will be given by Steve Pearson. Gene Estep will have special music.
Bible school classes will begin at 11 a.m.
Minister Klaus will speak at the Sunday evening service. The youth and children will have a combined worship time in the fellowship hall before breaking into their separate groups for classes.
The Tuesday morning prayer service led by John Smith will be at 10 a.m.
Wednesday evening Bible study and prayer service is at 6 p.m. with Minister Klaus teaching from the Bible book of Colossians. There will be classes for all ages.
Choir practice will follow at 7 p.m.

Biltmore Baptist
Biltmore Baptist will have a yard sale and bake sale Saturday, Sept. 9, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The church is located at 1181 Old Bristol Highway.

Poplar Grove
Keith Bayagen, missionary to the Philippines and Southeast Asia, will do a presentation of his mission work at the 11 a.m. service Sunday at Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
The church is located on Highway 91, Stoney Creek.

First Presbyterian
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will speak at the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday at First Presbyterian Church of Elizabethton.
An Education Hour and choir practice is at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities of the week include Meditation Wednesday at 7 p.m.; the Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group at 10 a.m.; and yoga Friday at 10 a.m.

Willow Springs
Willow Springs Baptist Church will observe homecoming Sunday, Sept. 10.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Dean Smith preaching. Sacred Harmony will sing at the 11 a.m. service, after which dinner will be served.
There will be no evening service.
All former members and pastors are invited to attend.

Long Hollow Baptist
Singers from Harmony Free Will Baptist Church will be featured at the monthly Saturday night singing Sept. 2 at Long Hollow Baptist Church. The service begins at 7 p.m.
The church is located in Valley Forge and everyone is welcome.

Sugar Hollow
Sugar Hollow Free Will Baptist Church, Roan Mountain, will celebrate homecoming Sunday. The service will begin at 10 a.m. and will feature music by “Called Out.”
Bill Morgan will bring the message, after which a fellowship meal will be enjoyed.
There will be no evening service.
