Awana Clubs at Bible Baptist Church will begin a new year beginning Wednesday, Sept. 6.
The clubs will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Classes include Cubbies for 4 and 5-year-olds; Sparks for kindergarten children through first and second grades; T&T for children in third through sixth grades; and the Teen Class for seventh graders through high school.
Registration will kick off with a fun evening including refreshments, face painting, balloon animals, air ride (seaweed), and other fun activities.
Barbara Rumley, who helps with Awana at Bible Baptist, said Awana Clubs are based on Paul’s advice to Timothy in II Timothy 2:15: “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Bible Baptist is located at 1215 Broad St. All children are invited to attend, especially those not attending another church.
