Emmett Blaine “Jeff” Hamrick

Emmett Blaine “Jeff” Hamrick, 81, of Hampton, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton.
A native of Swandale, W.Va., he was a son of the late Theodore H. and Stella Maude Hughes Hamrick.
Mr. Hamrick had lived in Tennessee since 1976. He was a self-employed contractor. He attended Union Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters and one son, Jeffery Hamrick.
Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Raye Williams, Commerce, Okla., and Dina Hamrick, Joplin, Mo.; three granddaughters, Ashley Goodwin, Kelsey Williams and Kristian Kelley; his great-grandchildren, Whitley and Marley Goodwin; and two sisters, Earnestine Hamrick Turner, Statham, Ga., and Jann Hamrick Wagner, Hiram, Ga. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The body will be taken to Clay, W.Va., for funeral and interment.
Memorial Funeral Chapel is serving the Hamrick family.
