Juanita Nave Oaks

Juanita Nave Oaks, 83, of Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Ivy Hall Nursing Home.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Joke Benard and Daisy Hughes Nave.
Juanita was a graduate of Hampton High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of Rittertown Baptist Church and she enjoyed attending Beck Mountain Baptist Church. She loved to sing in the choir and was a member of the WMU.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Hall Oaks, who died in March 2000.
Survivors include her daughter, Marcella June Oaks, and her special friend, Johnny Bradshaw.
Funeral services for Juanita Nave Oaks will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 2, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Campbell officiating. Music will be provided by Mr. David Arney. Interment will be in the Rittertown Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
