First Christian
Minister Michael Klaus will preach at the Sunday morning worship service Nov. 12 at First Christian Church, Elizabethton. The service begins at 9:45 a.m.
Scripture reading will be by Jeff Campbell and the communion meditation will be given by Randy Tadlock. Lorrie Case will present special music.
Bible school classes will begin at 11 a.m.
The Sunday evening service begins at 6 p.m. There will also be classes for youth and children.
The Tuesday morning prayer service led by John Smith will be at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary.
The Wednesday evening prayer service and Bible study will begin at 6 p.m. John Smith will lead the service. There will be classes for all ages.

New Liberty
New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church will recognize all military veterans Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service.
The New Liberty Revival Choir and Miss Laura Coleman will honor the veterans with patriotic and military branch musical selections.
Lunch will be served in the fellowship hall following the service.
There will be no evening service.
The pastor, the Rev. Ray Colbaugh, invites the public to attend.
New Liberty is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department.

Buffalo Valley
A clothing give-away will be held Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Buffalo Valley Christian Church, 111 Buffalo Valley Church Road.
Sizes will include clothing for infants, children, and adults.
Also available will be some shoes, purses, and even some toys.
The clothing give-away is open to the public.

Southside Free Will
Southside Free Will Baptist Church youth will be a part of a church fundraiser Nov. 13 at the Pizza Inn from 5 to 9 p.m.
Youth will help with serving pizza and a portion of the sales for that evening will be given to the youth for their projects.
The community is invited to come out and support them.

Bethlehem Lutheran
“Lights Out” is the sermon theme for Sunday morning worship Nov. 12 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Johnson City. The sermon text is Matt. 25: 1-13.
Morning worship is at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
Communion will be served at both services.
Interpreted services for the deaf are available the second and fourth Sundays at the 10:45 a.m. service.
The church is located at 201. E. Watauga Ave. and the pastor is the Rev. Steven Harmon.

Sinking Creek
Sinking Creek Baptist Church will have its annual Christmas Craft Show Nov. 11 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds from the sale will go to international missions.
The Rev. Jayson Hoagland is pastor.

Redeemer Lutheran
The sermon theme for the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Elizabethton, is “Be Ready: You Do Not Know When the Bridegroom Will Come.” Deacon Timothy Carter will conduct the service.
Sunday School is at 9 a.m.
The church is located at 234 W. F St.

First Presbyterian
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will preach Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at First Presbyterian Church, 119 W. F St.
An education hour for all ages will be at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities of the week include Meditation Wednesday at 7 p.m.; the Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group Thursday at 10 a.m.; and yoga Friday at 10 a.m.
The public is invited to attend.

Carter Christian
Carter Christian Church, 1765 Highway 91, Elizabethton, will hold a Holiday Craft & Bake Sale on Friday, Nov. 10, and Saturday, Nov. 11, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
Sponsored by the Carter Christian Church Ladies Aide Ministry, the sale will feature beautiful handmade crafts, holiday gift ideas and delicious homemade goodies.
