Marie C. Crow Perry, 93, of Elizabethton, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017, at Hermitage Health Center.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Maybelle Barnette Crow.
Mrs. Perry was retired from North American Rayon Corporation after 46 years of service. She was a member of Keenburg Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl William Perry, who died September 18, 1989; her sister, Jane Calhoun; and her brothers, James and Howard Crow.
Survivors include her son, Gary Perry, of the home; three brothers, Alfred, Carl and Harry “Bea” Crow; three sisters. Edith Keplinger, Florence Robinette and Shirley Matheson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Marie C. Crow Perry will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gene Fleenor officiating. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be her brothers, Alfred, Carl and Harry “Bea” Crow, and her church family. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service. The family wishes to extend a special “Thank You” to her church family for all their prayers and kindness and the staff of Hermitage Health Center for the excellent care that was given to her and also to her very special friend, Shirley Sue.
