John Brady “JB” Seehorn

John Brady “JB” Seehorn, 80, of Rocky Face, Ga., passed away Monday, December 11, 2017, at Rosewood Assisted Living in Fort Oglethorpe.
Mr. Seehorn received his master’s degree in history from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and his bachelor’s degree in history and economics from Milligan College in Milligan, Tenn. JB was a dedicated high school civics and world history teacher, an enthusiastic football coach, and a successful carpet business owner. He was in business with several of his closest friends for over four decades.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marcia Whittemore Seehorn of Rocky Face; daughter and son-in-law, Joni Seehorn Trobich and Robert K. Trobich of Charlotte, N.C.; son, John Brady Seehorn III and wife Michaele Snyder Seehorn of Dalton; sister, Amelia Seehorn Baxter of Georgia; and grandchildren, Alexandra, Carson and Michael Trobich and John Brady IV and Jessica Seehorn.
A graveside service to honor the life of Mr. Seehorn will be held Saturday, December 16, at 2 p.m. from Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Eades officiating. The family will receive friends at the home after the service.
