Teresa Maye Barnett, 48, of Roan Mountain, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Teresa was a native of Carter County. She was a homemaker and was of the Holiness Faith.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Loraine Mitchem.
Survivors include her children, Heather Barnett, Johnson City, Patrick Barnett and Kelly Barnett, both of the home; her father, Buster Barnett, Elizabethton; her siblings, JoAnn Thomas, Wanda Byrd, Jessie Forrest, Norma Barnett, Jimmy Barnett, Shirley Davis, Carolyn Bowyer and Jerry Barnett; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Teresa Maye Barnett will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 23, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Troy Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Captain Nelson Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Patrick Barnett, Terry Campbell, Jimmy Barnett, Jerry Barnett, Bobby Roberts and James Proffitt.
