Kenneth Gene Perry

Mr. Gene Perry, 76, of Loganville, Ga., passed away Friday, December 15, 2017.
A Memorial Service was held at 7 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2017, in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Ronnie Kendall officiated.
Kenneth was the son of the late Raymond and Ethel Perry of the Keenburg community. Kenneth was a member of the Class of 1959 Elizabethton High. Gene was a Veteran of the United States Army and had worked for Williams Group. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed supporting them in their sporting events, also hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn (Schatzel) Perry, in 2005.
Gene is survived by his wife: Gerlinde Perry of Loganville; children: Molly and Ted DesRochers, Annette and Ronnie Frazier, Heike and Todd Wolaver, all of Covington; grandchildren: Taylor, McKenzie and Chandler DesRochers, Courtney, Alli and Jake Frazier, Madison and Grayson Perry, Josh, Zack, Nick, Katie, Eli and Tate Wolaver; great-grandchildren: Landen, Alana, Oakleigh and Jaxton Wolaver; siblings: Bernice McAninch, Carolyn Blevins, Larry and Betti Perry, Patty and Kenny Simerly, all of Elizabethton, Tenn.; two special aunts: Clara Scalf and Mary Perry of the Bunker Hill Community. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
