Stephanie Ann Williams Ferrell, 48, of Elizabethton, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Select Specialty Hospital in Bristol. Stephanie was born on April 27, 1969 in Raleigh, N.C., to Frank Gurrant Williams and Jackie Faye Cockrell Williams of Elizabethton.
Stephanie was a homemaker and a member of Happy Valley Church of Jesus Christ. She will be most remembered as a loving daughter, who enjoyed playing with her grandson and was known as an exceptional person.
Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her parents, include her husband of 30 years, Jr Ferrell, of the home; three children, Amber Ruth Ferrell of Jonesborough, Heather Nicole Ferrell of Johnson City, and Joshua Andrew Ferrell of Elizabethton; her grandson, Carson Matthew Lyons of Jonesborough; her sister, Debbie Lynn Williams of Elizabethton; a niece, Lisa Heimann Johnson of Elizabethton; and two nephews, Caleb Grant Johnson and John Christopher Johnson, both of Elizabethton.
A service to celebrate the life of Stephanie Ann Williams Ferrell will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, January 5, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Rev. Donny Reagan officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, prior to the service. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to the Ferrell family, to help with expenses.
