Donna Lynne Richardson, 56, of Kingsport, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018, at Holston Valley Medical Center.
Donna was a native of Carter County. She worked in the Children’s Department at JC Penney, Johnson City, for several years until she retired due to disability. She was of the Christian Faith.
Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Louise Grindstaff.
Survivors include a sister, Karen McHenry, Cocoa, Fla.; one uncle and aunt, Larry and Betty Grindstaff, Elizabethton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service to celebrate the life of Donna Lynne Richardson will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, January 29, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Will Shewey officiating. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shades of Grace, 313 East Sullivan Street, Kingsport, TN 37660, to help the homeless.
