Molly Lou Lingerfelt, 56, of Hampton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 2, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center.
She was born November 2, 1961 in Akron, Ohio to Callie Johnson Tolley and the late Mack M. Tolley. She had lived most of her life in Carter County.
Molly attended Hampton High School. She was of the Baptist Faith. She loved her horses, loved to travel and loved to crochet.
Survivors include her son, Landon D. Lingerfelt, Hampton; her mother, Callie Tolley, Hampton; three brothers, Mitchell, Terry and Keith Tolley; her sister, Judy Byrd; several nieces and nephews; and the father of her son, Landon L. Lingerfelt.
A Celebration of Life Service for Molly Lou Lingerfelt will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, at College Park Free Will Baptist Church, Milligan, with the Rev. Ronnie Reece officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer funeral expenses or to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605-4255.
