Virginia Bell Canter Harrison, 81, of Elizabethton, went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 2, 2018.
Virginia was born to the late Howard H. Canter and Rosie Hicks Canter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Reynolds Jerry Harrison, on August 12, 2016; two brothers, Junior Canter and Burley Canter; and a sister, Ruby Peters.
Mrs. Harrison was a member of Pleasant Beach Baptist Church. She was employed for several years at Harold McCormick School.
Those left to cherish her memory include three sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Margaret Harrison, Tim and Reta Harrison and David and Denna Harrison; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Russell and Ethel Winters; and a special sister-in-law, Sherry Coffey.
The family wishes to thank Pine Ridge for the care provided to her during her illness.
