It is with the greatest of sadness that the family of Virginia Carol Clark, 76, of Nashville, announce her passing to be with our father on Sunday, February 11, 2018.
A native of Elizabethton (Stoney Creek), Tenn., she spent the best part of her life in Nashville, Tenn., and worked 31 years with Tennessee Valley Authority. Virginia made many endearing friends at TVA, who were with her in body, spirit and prayers up and to her passing. She was a member of the Winup Organization where she grew a family of exceptional sisters who as well were with her throughout her life. She was a friend to all and a stranger to none. She was and will always be dearly loved.
She will be loving remembered by her children, Greg (Joann) Clark and Lisa Puckett, as well as two wonderful grandchildren, Megan and Andrew Clark.
Virginia was preceded in death by her father, Eston Marcus Buckles; mother, Roxie (Odom) Buckles; eldest brother, Augustus Buckles; and son, Jeffrey Brian Clark.
She is survived in loving memory by two siblings, brother, Douglas (Carolyn) Buckles of Stoney Creek, and sister, Voretta (Phil) French of Knoxville.
Services will be held at Springhill Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, Tenn. 37216 at 3 p.m. Friday, February 16.
