Freda J. Bradshaw

Freda J. Bradshaw, 80, of Elizabethton, entered her Heavenly Home with her family by her side, on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born in Carter County and was a daughter of the late Lyde and Tina Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Bradshaw, on July 6, 2014; an infant brother; another brother, Cameron Taylor; a sister, Evelyn Taylor; her step-father, Paxton Taylor; a nephew, Zach Campbell; as well as her former husband, Robert Greer.
Mrs. Bradshaw was a member of Riverside Community Church of Jesus and worked at T.P.I. for 15 years. She enjoyed crocheting, working in her flower garden, attending craft fairs and loved spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Debbie Grindstaff and her husband, Bobby, Johnson City; a sister, Bessie Hambrick, Elizabethton; a brother, Howard L. Taylor and his wife, Mary, Knoxville; and two brothers-in-law, Freeman Taylor and Bud Hambrick, both of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews, including special nieces, Rose Ann Bowers, Connie Wyche and Freda Campbell, all of Elizabethton, Crystal Peterson, Unicoi, Louise Bush, Knoxville, and Tammy Cobb, Oak Ridge; several great-nieces and great-nephews; a special friend, Cathy Bowers, Elizabethton; a step-son, Greg Bradshaw, of Idaho; her church family; and her fur baby, Dolly, also survive.
A service to honor the life of Mrs. Bradshaw will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, in the Chapel of Peace, Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Rev. Benny Johnson officiating. Music will be under the direction of Rev. Benny and Sherry Johnson. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 1 until 2 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service. Interment will follow the funeral service on Tuesday in the Grindstaff Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Taylor, Mickey Taylor, Kirby Taylor, Philip Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Travis Taylor, James Wyche, John Wyche and Jacob Wyche. Honorary pallbearers will be James Taylor, Ed Bush, Joe Cobb, Mitchell Bowers and Pip Taylor. The family wishes to express a special and heartfelt thank you to her caregiver, Cathy Bowers, and to the nurses and ICU staff and the staff of the 7th floor of Johnson City Medical Center for all the care and support shown to Mrs. Bradshaw.
