William Frank Pilkton Sr., 78, of Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at his residence after an extended illness.
A native of Butler, he was a son of the late Grayson and Lettie Jane Luther Pilkton.
Mr. Pilkton was owner of Pilkton Trucking for several years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara McQueen Pilkton, who died in 2003.
Survivors include his children, William Frank Pilkton Jr. and Karen Renee Pilkton, both of the home; one brother, Dean Pilkton and wife Carolyn, Elizabethton; three sisters, Ruth Walsh and husband Bert, Piney Flats, Dorothy Authenreith and Mildred Spetrino, both of Barberton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a service at the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park at 2:30 p.m. Friday, February 23, with Mr. Woody Ornduff officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Peace. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
