Larry G. Fraser

Larry G. Fraser, 81, of Elizabethton, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018, at Erwin Health Care Center. He was born in Erie, Pa., and was the son of the late Lorne and Pauline Getting Fraser.
Mr. Fraser was retired from TRW. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and attended Valley Forge United Methodist Church. He was a model train enthusiast and a member of the Mountain Empire Model Railroaders. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 55 years, Jane Nave Fraser, of the home; two sons, Mark Fraser and wife Robin and Michael Fraser and wife Cindy, both of Maryland; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
An inurnment service for Mr. Fraser will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, March 2, in the Mountain Home National Cemetery with Pastor Chuck Shipley officiating. Military Honors will be accorded by the Carter County Honor Guard and the United States Air Force. Music will be under the direction of Mr. Jon Shell, bagpiper. Those wishing to attend are invited to meet the family at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Friday. The family would like to express a heartfelt and sincere thank you to all the friends and neighbors who have offered love and support as well as the entire staff of Erwin Health Care Center for the wonderful and loving care given to Larry during his illness.
