Jack B. Morgan, 80, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Morgan lived in Johnson City but was formerly of Roan Mountain. He was the son of the late James P. and Mary Alley Morgan. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Wayne Morgan.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 55 years, Patricia Markland Morgan; son, Jeff Morgan of Johnson City; brothers, W.D. Morgan, David and wife Shirley Morgan of Florida, Harry Morgan of Elizabethton, and Roger and wife Sally Morgan of Roan Mountain; a sister, June Hicks of Elizabethton; several nieces and nephews; his beloved dogs, Elvis and Louie; and his cat, Whiskey.
A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, March 4, at 2 p.m. at St. John Freewill Baptist Church in Roan Mountain. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2 p.m. at the church.
