Kirchen Kitty “Kris” Weismueller, 71, of Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital after a brief illness.
Kris was born in Misery, France on March 2, 1946. She was preceded in death by her father, John C. Weismueller.
Kris spent her life traveling around the United States. In her free time, she enjoyed writing poetry. She leaves behind her beloved seven cats and a community of people who loved her dearly.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 6, at 2 p.m. at Johnson Roan View Cemetery. William Grant will deliver the Eulogy and music will be provided by Amanda Montgomery. Pallbearers are Dexter Lunceford, William Grant, Brian Fraley, Danny Ward, Greg Williams and Erik Kitchens. Friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. to go to the cemetery.
