Charles Brooks Cole, 47, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018, at his residence. A native of Elizabethton, Tenn., he was the son of Dolores Oaks Cole, Elizabethton, and the late William Ralph Cole.
Mr. Cole was a 1988 graduate of Elizabethton High School. He was the former co-owner of Cole-Milhorn Motors. He was an Eagle Scout of Troop #31 and was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Elizabethton.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Marie Cole, and a little canine friend, Anny.
Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother include two sisters, Carol Cole Scruggs and husband John P. Scruggs, Elizabethton, and Dolores Ann Cole, Greeneville, Tenn.; an uncle, Jack H. Oaks; an aunt, Phyllis Walker; and special lifelong friends, Curt Alexander, Kenneth Brumit, Kathy Dugger-Edwards and Byron Milhorn. Many cousins also survive.
A private graveside service will be held for Charles Brooks Cole at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Mr. Curt Alexander officiating.
