Bobby H. Harding

Bobby H. Harding, 77, of Elizabethton, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center, following a brief illness. Bobby was born in Elizabethton, Tenn., to the late Andy and Hazel Rosenbaum Harding. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Ann Dean; a sister, Charlotte Sue Tyree; and an infant brother, Roy Harding.
Bobby retired from Snap-On Tools as a machine operator and was of the Freewill Baptist faith. He was a member of the Tennessee Army National Guard and was an avid coon hunter and loved to hunt with his brother. Bobby also enjoyed riding horses, fishing, loved animals and riding his motorcycle.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Charlotte Peters Harding, of the home; two sons, Ricky Harding and Billy Harding, both of Elizabethton; one daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Ted Puckett of Elizabethton; his grandchildren, Hannah, Makensie, Brandy, Robert, Lacey, Cody, Ric, Michael and Victoria; his great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Kaydence, Kya and Draven, Bethany, Braden, Amelia and Logan; one brother, Lonnie Harding of Elizabethton; and three sisters, Patsy Rainbolt, Judy Mosier and Ruby Harding, all of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A service to honor the life of Bobby H. Harding will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 18, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Rev. Bill Greer officiating. Music will be under the direction of Mr. Ted Puckett. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service. The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, March 19, in the Grindstaff Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be his grandsons and family. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Weaver, Dallas Peters, Roger Colbaugh and Lloyd Peters. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, at 10:15 a.m. Monday to go in procession. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. James Shipley for the special care given to Mr. Harding.
