Corine Livingston Lambert Simerly Pippin

Corine Livingston Lambert Simerly Pippin, 87, of Hampton, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at her residence with her family by her side.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Don and Laura Merritt Livingston.
Corine was a homemaker. She was a member of Valley Forge Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, McKinley Lambert, the father of her children, Lawrence Simerly and Jack Pippin; a daughter, Teresa Privette; a sister, Marie Stout; and a brother, Ray Livingston.
Survivors include her children, Donna Turner, Elizabethton, Sandra Lambert, Kingsport, Lora Pritchard and husband Eric, Roger Lambert and wife Gay and Ronnie Lambert and wife Phyllis, all of Elizabethton; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a brother, Arvil Livingston, Elizabethton; a brother-in-law, Wiley Lambert; five step-children; and a special friend, Lisa Poole.
A Service to Celebrate the Life of Corine will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, March 23, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Roy Adkins officiating. The graveside service and interment will be at noon Saturday, March 24, in the Jenkins Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, will be Earl Harmon, Robert Lambert, Bobby Stout, Timmy Honeycutt, Ronnie Mays, Jacques Hensley and Jason Lambert. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her church family. The family would like to give a “Special Thank You” to Amedisys, Lori, Chelsie and Jerry, for the care they gave Corine during her illness. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at her residence.
